Strawberry Salad Recipes

An easy, delicious salad that is sure to please!

Any fruit can be used, but this is my favorite combination. Try your own creation, but if you wish to use oranges and grapes in the same recipes, DON'T add the oranges until ready to serve or the grapes will be extremely bitter.

When I asked my boyfriend what he wanted as a second side dish, all he said was, 'something different.' I decided to try a twist on the traditional fruit salad that I grew up eating, and it was a huge hit! The best thing about this recipe is that most fruits are great with the dressing, so you can use your favorites or whatever is in season.

Nothing canned here! Use fresh fruit, nuts, and organic vanilla yogurt (very important! - it's less sweet than other yogurt). A dash of cinnamon really adds that special something. Quick and delicious!

Caught in a pinch for a salad when unexpected company showed up at mealtime, I improvised with this combination. Instantly it became one of my family's favorites. Best of all, it is quick and easy. You can use lemon yogurt instead of strawberry, if you wish.

Besides the variations on the dressing, I added feta cheese to the salad. It was scrumptious! Even spinach haters ate it up! I made this for a party and there were a lot more servings as a buffet item than 8.
